No Weights, No Problem Pyramid Workout

After deciding to lose weight, I can clearly remember walking into the gym for the first-time. Although I was familiar with the gym, I had never been there before.

Here I was, again, all the weight I gained back, then more with each child. But this time, it felt different. I felt small, unreachable, and extremely insecure. I was in terrible shape. I knew it. I felt like everyone who saw me try to work would also know it.

I can remember looking up a pyramid workout online before Pinterest, and printing it out to be able to reference it when I got to the gym.

It was actually a similar one to the one I’m sharing today. As I tried the exercise, I looked around with nervousness. I failed, but I was proud of my efforts. I was exhausted and sweaty from the effort. Although I didn’t do the exercise well, I did it nonetheless! !

This workout is great for anyone who goes to the gym but needs some direction. It also works well for those who work out at home.

Complete the pyramid with as little rest as possible, then take 1-2 minutes to rest and then go 1-2 more times

What to eat after a hard workout is the biggest question I receive. ?

After a hard workout, a protein shake can be a great way to replenish your body with energy.

If you are like me, after working out, you head home and immediately get on with kid duty. I get all three children ready for school. I don’t have the time to make a pre-workout meal, so AdvantEDGE High protein Shakes are perfect for busy moms like me. I grab one from my fridge during the morning chaos and enjoy it! This is my little treat to myself. Add a banana, and you have the perfect combination of protein, carbohydrates and minimal fats. It’s a win-win for busy mornings!
